'Bunch of lies': CNN found Trump made 'at least' 19 false claims to women at Fox town hall

Former President Donald Trump reportedly made at least 19 false statements to women during a town hall event this week.

A CNN fact-check found that the Republican presidential nominee made repeated false claims at the event, which Fox News aired on Wednesday.

Some of Trump's most glaring falsehoods included statements about Roe v. Wade, in vitro fertilization, Kamala Harris' border role, immigration levels, and the status of migrants in Springfield, Ohio.

For example, Trump claimed that "everybody" wanted Roe v. Wade to be overturned.

"It's not even close to true that 'everybody' wanted Roe overturned or that 'the Democrats' did," CNN's fact-check pointed out. "A large majority of Americans and an overwhelming majority of Democrats wanted the Supreme Court to preserve Roe in 2022, according to numerous polls. Democratic support for Roe exceeded 80% in many polls and 90% in some polls."

Other false statements were made on inflation, his tax cuts, and U.S. troops in Syria and South Korea.

"He told a bunch of lies," the CNN fact check concluded.
