People are already in line to try to attend Donald Trump's criminal trial that's potentially wrapping up this coming week, and the police have reportedly made a visit.
Trump is on trial for allegedly covering up hush money payments given to an adult film star with whom he had a brief affair. Most of the country has been forced to follow along with text updates, since there are no cameras allowed in the criminal courtroom.
But some lucky people get there early enough to attend in the public seats. ABC gave an in-depth review of those who are already waiting, and included some interesting anecdotes.

The outlet quoted one Trump supporter in line as saying, "I'm excited to see [ex-Trump lawyer Michael] Cohen being grilled a little more, all his lies being unraveled before the court and before the jurors."
The report continues, also quoting Richard Partington, who arrived at 9 a.m. on Saturday to "hopefully secure a rare courtroom seat," according to the Sunday report.
"To bear the weather and lengthy wait, some brought tents and sleeping bags – others used nearby benches or sheets of cardboard to make impromptu beds with quilts and comforters," the report states. "The police visited the line at least once overnight – according to Partington they had received a report of a homeless encampment in the park – but quickly left after realizing it was just the line for the Trump trial."
