'He tweeted his way to treason': Internet mocks Trump for 'confessing' to Russian election hacking

In a rare Friday evening tweet, President Donald Trump appeared to finally admit that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election -- and in characteristic fashion, somehow managed to twist that on former President Barack Obama. In response, Twitter users did what they do best -- gave him hell for it.
"The Obama Administration knew far in advance of November 8th about election meddling by Russia. Did nothing about it. WHY?" the president tweeted.
"Why does Trump suddenly have interest in Russia's election meddling?" Twitter user Adam Best asked. "He's denied it from the start. Blamed some imaginary 400-pound hacker?"
"I'll say it: Obama had already confronted Putin, so Putin told Trump to yell that the election was rigged so Obama would keep quiet," user Marie Nina said.
