Trump uses latest tweetstorm to lie about GOP healthcare bill providing coverage for preexisting conditions

On Wednesday evening, President Donald Trump claimed he would not sign or support the GOP's latest effort to repeal and replace the Obama-era Affordable Care Act if it didn't protect people with pre-existing conditions.

The tweet followed a post by Trump iterating his support for Luther Strange in Alabama, and another video of the president wishing Happy New to Jewish families..

Immediately after, journalists pointed out that the new healthcare bill does, in fact, eliminate that guarantee.

The White House is reportedly "all in" on the latest GOP attempt to repeal and replace ObamaCare. The bill would gut Medicaid and allow states to determine whether insurance companies are required to cover preexisting conditions.
