'What a shame': Trump invites followers to ponder why he's being prosecuted

In a post to Truth Social this Friday, former President Donald Trump suggested that the alleged unfair treatment he's receiving from prosecutors is distracting from problems at home and abroad.

Trump, who has recently been using his social media posts to state his support for Israel following backlash against some of his comments aimed at the nation's leader, decided to ponder why he's being charged with crimes.

"Can anyone imagine that with all of the self inflicted and imposed problems that the United States is experiencing, both at home and abroad, that I am being forced to fight off politically hungry Prosecutors, Radical Left Democrats all, on the greatest political Witch Hunt of all time," he wrote.

He then claimed that the trials were "all started by Crooked Joe Biden as an unprecedented attack against his Political Opponent, ME, for purposes of Election Interference, and more."

"What a Shame, what a Shame!!!" Trump added.

Along with civil suits, Trump is facing 91 felony counts in four criminal cases in Washington D.C., New York, Florida and Georgia and could be looking at years in prison if he's convicted.
