President Donald Trump appeared at a Wednesday speech with visible bruises on both hands covered with makeup, prompting social media speculation about his physical health.
This isn't the first time the, nearly, 80-year-old President has been spotted using makeup to cover the bruises on his hands. However his appearance on Wednesday drew the attention of many.
Professional tennis player Martina Navratilova commented, "That is a lot of bad makeup."
And talk show host David Pakman posted, "Hey guys...umm...what on earth is going on here?"
Social media accounts referenced Trump's recent dental appointment as a possible explanation.
"Every journalist should be asking what the hell is going on with this guy's health that they aren't telling us," wrote the account for The Lincoln Project.
The incident rekindled broader discussions about presidential health transparency and media coverage of Trump's physical condition.
