TSA admits workers aren't coming in 'due to financial limitations' from shutdown

As the government shutdown entered its 25th day, leaving 800,000 workers without pay, there's been growing concerns over disrupted flights and airport security as many TSA workers are calling in sick.

So far, the federal agency had been silent on the problem. But on Wednesday, in a press release the TSA confessed that employees aren't showing up.

"Many employees are reporting that they are not able to report to work due to financial limitations," read the release.
