President Donald Trump on Friday said that he had discussed the end of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation with Russian president Vladimir Putin.
"Did you tell him not to meddle in the next election?" a reporter asked in the White House.
"Excuse me. I'm talking. I'm answering this question. You are very rude," Trump shot back. "So we had a good conversation about many different things."
"Did you ask him not to meddle in the next election?" the reporter pressed.
“We didn’t discuss that," Trump admitted.
