Video suggesting Barron Trump might be autistic pulled from YouTube after threat of lawsuit

The creator of a video suggesting the youngest son of Donald Trump might be autistic has pulled it from YouTube and extended an apology to the family after an attorney for Melania Trump threatened a lawsuit, reports TMZ.

On Monday, TMZ came into possession of  a letter from Trump attorney Charles J. Harder demanding the video be pulled and requesting an apology.

Tuesday afternoon the attorney's threat of a lawsuit seems to have worked, with the video's creator, James Hunter, yanking the clip that had been viewed over 3 million times.

In a new video posted to YouTube, Hunter describes his original clip in very specific legal terms, calling it "false, defamatory and malicious"

With piano music playing in the background on the new one, Hunter wrote: "Many of the videos I used showed Barron Trump behaving like any normal kid would at 3 A.M. I falsely correlated him trying to stay awake and occasionally doing quirky things with him suffering from autism. That was incredibly foolish of me."

Hunter's video attracted national attention after comedian Rosie O'Donnell linked to it -- setting off a firestorm of criticism.
