WA cops searching for skinhead with history of racial and domestic violence wanted in triple murder

A manhunt is underway in Woodland, Washington, for 36-year-old Brent W. Luyster who is suspected of murdering three and wounding one in a Friday night shooting, KATU reports.

Update: KOIN6 reports Luyster has been arrested.

Luyster is a white man with Nazi tattoos, including a large mural on his back bearing swastikas and the words "skin head" blazoned across his belly.

Luyster has a long criminal history that includes attacks on black men, the Oregonian reports. He is also currently facing charges for beating his ex-girlfriend and allegedly shooting at police.

The victims in the Friday triple murder haven't been identified and police haven't specified their race or races.

He is considered armed and extremely dangerous. As of Saturday morning, police were still on the scene of the shooting in the 4000 block of Northwest 417th Street in Woodland, a city in southern Washington state that boundaries Oregon. The city is in Clark County.

Police told the Oregonian that a woman who survived the shooting drove 2 miles with a gunshot wound to her face, to an AM/PM store, where 911 was called at about 10:20 p.m.. She was taken to a hospital and immediately went into surgery.

A SWAT team was sent to the address, where bodies were found.

Aside from his distinctive tattooes, Luyster is 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, and believed to be driving either a gold Ford Explorer with a cargo rack and plates reading ATD5294, or a white Explorer with Washington plates reading AYH9994.

Luyster is currently facing charges of first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, second-degree assault and felony harassment, according to the Longview Daily News.

His ex-girlfriend called police on May 16, reporting she awoke to him hitting her in the head and face with a pistol, then dragging her by her hair down a hallway. When police went to arrest him, they heard gunshots coming from the woods near the home. Police believed he was shooting at them.
