WATCH: Actor lauded as a hero after standing up to obnoxious anti-gay bros in Starbucks

Actor Leslie Jordan may have a small stature, but don't mess with him.

The Will & Grace actor is being lauded as a community hero after he hurled his drink at three dudes who decided wandering into LGBT-friendly West Hollywood's Starbucks and hurling anti-gay slurs at people would be a good idea on Thursday, local news outlet Wehoville reports.

Jordan is 4'11" and a regular at the Starbucks, Wehoville reports. The men started using anti-gay slurs while in line and threatened the manager when he told them to leave. Jordan ordered them to "get out of my house." He and others followed them outside and when one of them lunged to try and hit the diminutive actor, Jordan threw his drink. It landed on its intended target.

According to Wehoville, the three men went inside the Starbucks on Santa Monica Boulevard and started shouting "f*ggot" at patrons. The coffee shop is a major gathering spot for gay men. It's nicknamed "Gaybucks" or "BGS" (Big Gay Starbucks) by regulars.

Sheriff's deputies from the West Hollywood station arrived and separated the factions. No one wanted to file charges, so there were no arrests, Wehoville reports.

The news outlet reports the altercations is just one in a series of troubling, violent incidents that have befallen the predominantly LGBT community situated just outside Los Angeles.
