WATCH: Atlanta Fox station abruptly cut to commercial as Jemele Hill began to talk about Trump and white nationalism

During a live broadcast of "The Wendy Williams Show" on Tuesday, Fox5 in Atlanta abruptly cut to a commercial just as former sportscaster Jemele J Hill was about to talk about her previous criticism of President Donald Trump.

According to Jezebel, Hill, who had been suspended from ESPN and eventually left the network after linking President Trump to white supremacy on Twitter in 2017, was about to comment about the controversy when, what the network called a "technical glitch," occurred.

“I thought it was something that was obvious, especially after Charlottesville, I was very disappointed, like a lot of people that the president...” Hill was explaining before the network abruptly went to commercial.

According to the report, the broadcast resumed after Hill was done talking about the president, interrupting a Papa John's commercial.

In a later statement to Jezebel, Fox5 explained away the interruption and promised that the entire episode would be rebroadcast "...tomorrow morning from 3am-4am.”
