WATCH: Complete 'mayhem' erupts at Mexico border over migrant crisis

On Friday, an international migrant crisis erupted at the Guatemala-Mexico border.

Thousands of migrants are waiting to cross, and CNN showed striking images of people climbing over fences and tear gas being released.

Special correspondent Bill Weir describes the scene as "mayhem."

"Everyone I talked to said they had no other choice," Weir said.
