WATCH: Cop pulls gun on black students over broken tail light – then bizarrely tries to blame the Supreme Court

In an incident that appears to be a case of racial profiling, four college students were stopped and handcuffed at Virginia University of Lynchburg, reports WSET. 

A video of the traffic stop by Lynchburg Police circulated on social media.

"It was kind alarming to watch, just to see that," their football coach, Bobby Rome, told WSET. The students were headed back to campus after an early workout.

"I seen the police officer approach," Rome said. "He asked everyone to put their hands on the dash and immediately he had his hand on his waist."

The officer pulled his gun on them, claiming he smelled marijuana.

"The supreme court says guns and drugs go together," the officer says. Although he searched the car, no illegal drugs were found.

"Those are my kids on the side walk," Rome said. "They're not criminals, gangsters, they're not drug dealers. They're not murderers. They're here to get an education."
