WATCH: Fox News host Shep Smith busts Trump for defacing money

Fox News host Shepard Smith on Thursday called out President Donald Trump for defacing a dollar bill.

The Fox News host watched as Trump signed autographs ahead of his campaign-style rally in Minnesota.

"Somebody just handed him a dollar bill to sign," Smith said. "And sign it he did. Uh, I guess if you're president you can do that."

It is illegal to deface US currency "with the intent to render [bank notes] unfit to be reissued."
