WATCH: Fox News host wants you to have a psychedelic experience before you die

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld on Thanksgiving encouraged Americans to have a psychedelic experience.

The co-hosts of Fox's The Five answers questions from their viewers on Thursday. One person wanted to know "What is something everyone should do at least once in their lives?"

"I would say have a psychedelic experience," Gutfeld said.

"Oh, no, I'm not doing that," co-host Dana Perino interrupted.

"I'm not saying how," Gutfeld continued. "You could meditate and have a psychedelic experience, you could listen to music and have a psychedelic experience, you could try certain kinds of natural substances and have a psychedelic experience."

But none of the co-hosts seemed enthused about the idea, except for Juan Williams -- who compared it to spending time with an African tribe. "Their view of the world, what is important to them is not important to us," he remarked.

"If you have an out of brain experience, it'll change you for the rest of your life," Gutfeld later added.
