WATCH: George Papadopoulos reveals to CNN's Jake Tapper what he knew about Hillary Clintons' emails

George Papadopoulos, the former foreign policy adviser to President Donald Trump, told CNN's Jake Tapper that his "memory" would not allow him to remember the communication he had with Russia.

"Did you tell anyone on the campaign?" Tapper asked in an exclusive interview.

"As far as I remember I absolutely did not. I might have, but my I have no recollection of doing so. I can't guarantee it, all I can say is that my memory is telling me that I never shared it with anyone on the campaign.

On Friday Papadopoulos was sentenced to 14 days in prison for lying to Speical Counsel Robert Mueller.
