WATCH: Iranian parliament burns US flag and chants ‘death to America’ after Trump kills nuclear deal

The Iranian parliament on Tuesday burned a printed image of the United States flag while shouting “death to America” after Donald Trump announced the country will pull out of the Iran nuclear deal.

The move came after Trump made the Iran nuclear deal a central campaign issue, vowing to withdraw from the treaty despite warnings from members of the international community. During a speech on Tuesday, Trump called the deal “defective” and argued the decision will make America safer.

Critics say Trump’s move further isolates the United States from the rest of the world and undermines Washington’s credibility abroad.
