WATCH LIVE: Democratic lawmakers read Mueller report in Capitol hearing

Democratic lawmakers will read aloud the redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-PA), vice chair of the House Judiciary Committee, and nearly a dozen other lawmakers will read the 448-page report into the congressional record starting at noon in a Capitol hearing room.

The report shows numerous links between the Trump campaign and Russia before the 2016 election, but did not establish evidence of a criminal conspiracy.

Mueller's report also examines multiple instances that appear to show President Donald Trump obstructed justice, and the special counsel seems to have asked Congress to decide whether the potential crimes merited impeachment.

Attorney General William Barr has refused to show an unredacted version of the report and its underlying evidence to congressional Democrats, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has declared "case closed" on Mueller's investigation.
