President Donald Trump and former ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley are holding an event in the Oval Office.

News broke on Tuesday morning that Haley had resigned from her position in the Trump administration. She recently announced the U.S. was withdrawing from the UN Human Rights Council.

Haley, a former Republican governor of South Carolina, was appointed as ambassador to the United Nations by Trump in 2016.
