WATCH: Michael Avenatti reveals Stormy Daniels' first thoughts after Trump called her 'horseface'

On Tuesday, Stormy Daniels' lawyer Michael Avenatti unloaded on President Donald Trump during an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer. Trump won a courtroom battle against Daniels and then referred to her as "horseface" on his Twitter account.

Avenatti fired back at Trump on Twitter calling him a "disgusting misogynist."

"Is this just about helping your client, or is this beginning to get personal for you?" Blitzer asked.

"I think it has been personal for a while, for both my client and myself. But more importantly, this is a disgrace. Donald Trump is the president of the United States," Avenatti said. "Never in my lifetime did I think that I would witness behavior like this from the president of the United States."

Adding, "I'm a father to two daughters, and I know many of your viewers are also fathers and mothers. It's an absolute joke and disgrace."

"What did Stormy Daniels tell you after she saw the president's tweet?" Blitzer asked.

"She was incredulous. She couldn't believe it. She thought that his account had been hacked or it was some joke. I don't care what your politics are. This has no place. It's a complete disrespect to the office of the presidency."
