WATCH: North Carolina House meets to determine future of discriminatory HB2 'bathroom bill'

The North Carolina House is meeting Wednesday morning in a session called by Gov. Pat McCrory to determine whether to repeal HB2, otherwise known as North Carolina's discriminatory "bathroom bill."

McCrory signed the bill — which targets transgender people by requiring all people to use the public restroom associated with their so-called biological sex — earlier this year.

Charlotte City Council members convened Wednesday morning as well and voted to repeal the ordinance, voting 7-2.
