WATCH: Sousaphone player humiliates sad Confederate flag marchers -- and it's hilarious

Saying, "My goal was to embarrass them, and I think I did a little bit,"  a South Carolina man trailed the Confederate flag march in Columbia on Saturday, playing a mocking tune from The Family Guy mixed in with Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries."

In an interview with the Charleston City Paper, Matt Buck, a Columbia resident who studied tuba performance at the University of South Carolina, said he wanted to show his disapproval with the hodgepodge of neo-Nazis and KKK members who showed up to protest the Confederate flag removal at the state capital.

Grabbing his sousaphone, the man trailed the marchers who were being jeered by bystanders from the curb, with an assortment of tunes including the tune that the character Stewie plays on Family Guyin an episode where he gets paid to follow obese people around with a tuba. He then switched to Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries," which he says he picked due to its use in the classic Nazi car chase scene from The Blues Brothers.

"I didn't really know how to show my opposition, so that was my way of doing it," Buck said.

In the video a woman can be heard saying of the marchers, "When the family tree has no branches..."
