WATCH: Trump claims Democrats are 'laughing like hell' at sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh

President Donald Trump on Wednesday claimed Democrats are "laughing like hell" at the sexual assault allegations leveled against his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

"And they know it's a big, fat con job," Trump said at his press conference in New York. "And they go into a room, and I guarantee you, they laugh like hell at what they pulled off on you and on the public. They laugh like hell."

The president went on to suggest that Democrats would not care if the FBI gave Kavanaugh a "clean score" of innocence.
