WATCH: Waves surge through Caribbean home being flooded by Hurricane Irma

As Hurricane Irma continues hurtling toward Florida, more footage is emerging of the storm that show its frightening destructive power.

A new video posted on YouTube shows a house in the island of Anguilla, a British territory that was absolutely hammered by Irma this week.

The person filming the video is standing in the bottom floor of their house and watching helplessly as waves surge in and out of the room.

The Daily Mail reports that the British military is sending a flagship Navy vessel, the HMS Ocean, to the island with supplies to help its battered people recover.
