WATCH: White man randomly — and viciously — attacks Asian man on subway in shocking video

A 33-year-old white man in the U.K. has been arrested after he was caught punching an Asian man in the face on the London Underground this week.

A video of the incident, which was first uploaded by Miqdaad Versi, assistant secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, shows a white man approaching the Asian man and a white woman who are sitting next to each other on the train.

Suddenly, the white man punches the Asian mn in the face and promptly flees from the train. The white woman is seen chasing after him through the subway station.

Law enforcement officials tell the Daily Star that a man whom they believe to be the assailant in the video "has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning ABH and using threatening/abusive words/behavior or disorderly behavior likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress."
