Trump announced the summit on Thursday, telling reporters in the Oval Office that Hungarian President and Putin ally Viktor Orban is going to "host" the meeting.
Dale asked who chose the venue for the meeting. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt replied, "Your mom did." White House Communications Director Steven Cheung added, "Your mom."
The next summit between Trump and Putin comes at a time when Russia's war in Ukraine continues to drag on. Trump promised on the campaign trail that he would end the war within 24 hours of taking office.
