The company behind the White House demolition faced a deluge of negative reviews on Tuesday.
Aceco LLC, a Maryland-based company, was contracted to begin demolition this week on the historic building in preparation for President Donald Trump's long-desired ballroom. The company had plenty of reactions online after images of the demolition surfaced and was flooded with negative reviews on Google Maps.
"DESTROYERS...Worst Remodel Ever! TERRIBLE COMPANY," Felicity McKay wrote.
"You should be ashamed of yourself! This hasn't been approved by the people who own it," Judith Baumgartner wrote.
"Aceco should be ashamed of demolishing parts of the White House for that orange buffoon!" Another person wrote.
As of Tuesday evening, several people had taken to the company's Instagram account, sharing their reactions under posts from 2022, including a Veteran's Day message.
"How many people did you expose to asbestos or lead ? Not to mention silica. You should be ashamed of yourselves not only for what you've done to the peoples house. But also for your s----y construction practices. Do you not have a HAZCOM program?"
"You should have said no!"
"You should’ve turned that contract down. Trump is going to screw you guys over. And then the American people will get a hold of you and your company will be gone. Have a good time filing bankruptcy."
"Complicit."
"You had no business tearing down the people's house!"
"It certainly is NOT honoring our Veterans to tear down the People's House at the bidding of a dictator. Shameful!!! You should know better."
