White nationalist leader David Duke: Trump sounds even more radical than I do

One of the most notorious white nationalist's in the United States says that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks even "more radically” than he does.

In an interview highlighted by BuzzFeed on Saturday, Former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard and Louisiana politician David Duke remarked that Trump "speaks a little more, actually he speaks a little more, a lot more radically than I talk."

Duke described Trump's radicalism as both a positive and a negative.

“It’s positive in the fact that there’s less political correctness and people are getting the courage to speak out,” Duke explained.

“At the same time, I’m concerned that I don’t agree with all of his policies," Duke continued. "I certainly don’t support the idea of America supporting the nation of Israel, which has committed terrorism against the United States of America, with the Lavon affair and the attack on the Liberty and the incredible treachery and the damage that was done by Israel with its spy Jonathan Pollard, who basically caused the death of hundreds of our operatives. I think, and I see this Jewish extremist, this basically Zionist, minority having enormous influence.”

Duke -- who makes no attempt to hide his racist views -- has previously praised Trump for his anti-immigrant views.

“I’ve said from the beginning I think his campaign is good in the sense that it’s bringing these issues to a discussion which we have to have in America. And [Trump is] continuing to move the envelope further and I think he understands the real sentiment of America,” Duke said earlier this year.
