Video from a drone camera flying a Reno, NV freight train (Screen capture)
Drone pilot Paul Nurkkala shot a remarkable video with a camera-equipped drone in which he buzzed a speeding freight train and flew over mountains, trestles and rivers in Reno, NV.
As Gizmodo.com noted, "Your childhood fantasies of soaring through the air like Iron Man or Superman will seem far less fantastic after this sobering first-person footage of a drone racing alongside a moving cargo train reveals just how terrifying (and slightly nauseating) it would be to actually fly."
Although the train's conductor seemed less than thrilled to have a flying visitor, slamming shut his window when he noticed the drone flying alongside his engine.
