The worm turns: Michael Cohen is 'willing to give' up information on Trump, friend says

CNN reported on Wednesday that attorney Michael Cohen is "willing to give information" on his former client, President Donald Trump.

CNN host Wolf Blitzer said on Wednesday that a source close to Cohen had confirmed that the president's former personal attorney is willing to talk to prosecutors about Trump under the right circumstances. Cohen has reportedly told friends that he expects to be charged for bank fraud and other crimes related to his relationship with Trump.

"He knows a lot of things about the president and he's not averse to talking in the right situation," a friend of Cohen's told the network. "If they want information on Trump, he's willing to give it."

"He feels let down by him and isolated by him," another friend explained to CNN.

ABC reported on Wednesday that Cohen has resigned his post as Deputy Finance Chair for the Republican National Party.

The president's former lawyer also blasted Trump's policy of separating families who cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally.

"As the son of a Polish holocaust survivor, the images and sounds of this family separation policy is heart wrenching,” Cohen said in his resignation letter to the RNC. “While I strongly support measures that will secure our porous borders, children should never be used as bargaining chips."
