President Donald Trump boasted about his newly signed tax bill at Mar-a-Lago Saturday night, telling close friends over dinner, "You all just got a lot richer."

According to the report from CBS News, "Mr. Trump directed those comments to friends dining nearby at the exclusive club — including to two friends at a table near the president's who described the remark to CBS News."

The newly passed tax bill has been heavily criticized by both Democrats and economists for being overly favorable to the wealthy while giving a pittance to the less well-off and the middle class.
