'You are disgusting': Gospel singer Vicki Yohe gets blasted online for insulting Women's March

Gospel singer Vicki Yohe took to Instagram on Saturday to express her support for newly-sworn in Pres. Donald Trump and to taunt the 2.9 million demonstrators marching around the world for women's rights.

ThatGrapeJuice.net reported that Yohe posted a photo of an actor dressed as Jesus carrying suitcases with the words, "On my way back to the White House."

Underneath, Yohe wrote, "March all you want, protest all you want, President DONALD J. TRUMP is our President for at least 4 years, no weapon formed against him will prosper!"

She went on, "You know you are doing something right when there is so much opposition!!! #excitingtimes."

Yohe -- a white singer performing in the gospel genre with a large black following -- quickly heard back from a number of people who are not so keen on her view of the Women's March and the new administration.

Activist Shaun King scorched Yohe in an open letter posted to Facebook.

"Dear Vicki Yohe," wrote King. "This is disgusting. You are disgusting. I was a pastor for 15 years and feel the need to strongly come against much of what you, a white 'Gospel' singer widely known for singing to Black audiences, have done here."

He pointed out that Yohe is saying that Jesus Christ hasn't been in the White House during Pres. Obama's term, which he said, "stumps the hell out of me."

"I am close friends with President Obama's chaplain. He was a praying man and a baptized Christian. I think you have confused your whiteness with your Christianity," he said.

"Donald Trump brags about grabbing women by the pussy. He has been recorded calling women bitches. He openly admitted cheating on his first two wives. He has openly admitted sleeping with married women. He lies repeatedly. He has openly mocked a disabled man. He has said he feels like punching people. And more," King wrote.

"Somehow, though, you think he represents the return of Jesus to the White House when President Obama and Michelle Obama represent the fruit of the spirit in so many ways. You just can't see it because they are Black," he said.
