YouTube bans histrionic Donald Trump ad for stealing Martin Sheen's voice from video game

The video game company Electronic Arts ordered YouTube to take down an advertisement promoted by Donald Trump on Monday for violating U.S. copyright laws.

A video that Trump posted to his Twitter account on Monday reportedly borrowed narration spoken by actor Martin Sheen. The audio was originally used in Electronic Art's Mass Effect 2 video game trailer.

The Trump ad begins with bloody police officers, protesters at Black Lives Matters rallies and scenes of fights at Trump's own campaign events. It also features video clips of the moon landing, a bald eagle, fireworks, Hillary Clinton barking like a dog and President Barack Obama lifting weights.

"We're at war," Sheen says in the video. "No one wants to admit it but humanity is under attack. One very specific man might be all that stands between humanity and the great threat of our existence."

Trump tweeted the video on Monday morning with the words "Make America Great Again."

The tweet also linked to YouTube, but by Monday, that video had been removed due to a copyright claim from Electronic Arts.
