'Republicans undermine our own message': Trump aide warns GOP against denying Biden a win

Former Trump administration communications official Alyssa Farah Griffin warned on Wednesday that Republicans are creating a trap for themselves by refusing to work with President Joe Biden on border issues.

This comes as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has blamed Donald Trump himself for the party's apparent rejection of an in the works bipartisan Senate deal that would pair together aid to Ukraine with border security reforms, and as many Republicans have outright argued the issue should be blockaded until they can get President Joe Biden removed from office — a sentiment expressed on X by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL).

Revealed: Voter analysis explains the 'real winner' of the New Hampshire primary

The Washington Post's opinion editor responded to new polling data from New Hampshire Republican voters, revealing the actual winner of the primary in the state was "the big lie" that Donald Trump won in 2020.

Speaking on MSNBC Wednesday, host Alicia Menendez explained that 64 percent of Iowa voters and 50 percent of New Hampshire voters didn't care whether Trump was convicted of a crime. The numbers aren't a shock in Iowa, after national polls showed closer to 66 percent of Republicans agreed with the statement. But it spells disaster for Trump in New Hampshire.

Joe Biden just made a 'smart move' in dealing with Trump's legal problem: expert

The Biden administration won't be weighing in when the U.S. Supreme Court considers if Donald Trump is eligible to run for president, Politico reported.

From Politico: "Although the Justice Department is supposed to represent the institutional interests of the U.S. government and not the political interests of the sitting president, any position the agency takes on Trump’s eligibility could trigger blowback if it’s perceived as trying to help Biden’s reelection campaign."

Former Trump press secretary serves up surprise praise for Biden on Fox News

Former Trump White House press secretary and 2020 campaign national press secretary and senior advisor Kayleigh McEnany heaped praise on President Joe Biden's write-in victory in New Hampshire's presidential primary Tuesday night – angering her former boss who denounced her as a "RINO," Republican in Name Only.

"This was actually a fairly good night for Joe Biden," McEnany, a Fox News host, declared. "When you look at our voter analysis, only 10% said, 'I would not vote for Joe Biden if he's the nominee.' He won a plurality of voters who said he was too old. He won a majority of voters who are upset about the Gaza war. So the divides in the Democrat Party – and this is a small sample size, but – perhaps aren't as stark as one would think. But when you look at the Republican Party, seven in 10 Nikki Haley, voters said, 'I would not vote for Trump.' There was a Des Moines Register poll, 43% said, 'No, I wouldn't vote for Trump.'"
