A federal judge in Massachusetts ruled Wednesday that the Trump administration unlawfully withheld more than $2 billion in funding for Harvard. The judge said in her order that the administration decided to withhold the funds after the university refused to capitulate to its campus antisemitism policy reforms. The order also prohibits the Trump administration from withholding future funding for the university.

Trump hit with major blow in 'onslaught' on Harvard

A federal court ruled on Wednesday that the Trump administration violated Harvard University's First Amendment rights by withholding federal grant funding over its campus antisemitism policies.

In April, the Trump administration froze more than $2.2 billion in grant funding for Harvard because of the pro-Palestine protests that occurred on its campus. Judge Allison D. Burroughs of the District Court of Massachusetts found that this decision violated Harvard's rights and was made in retaliation because the university refused to bow to Trump's demands to end pro-Palestinian protests.

Emotional Nancy Mace breaks down at Epstein horror — then immediately shields Trump

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) defied President Donald Trump to vote to advance the release of files from the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case — but then quickly stepped in to give a full-throated MAGA defense of Trump's own involvement with the late financier.

Mace was one of a small handful of Republicans to sign the discharge petition from Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY), compelling the release of the remaining Epstein files. The Trump administration has warned GOP lawmakers that backing the petition is a "hostile act" against Trump, and Massie, a frequent thorn in the side of GOP leadership, hit back by suggesting Trump “may be covering for some rich and powerful people that are friends of his.”
