Former Democratic congressman and current Fox News contributor Dennis Kucinich is reportedly scheduled to give an interview to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Both ITV and Sunday Times correspondent Hala Jaber reported on Tuesday that Kucinich was in the process of conducting the interview.
Kucinich has been a vocal critic of the U.S. using military force against Syria. His Kucinich Action political action committee (PAC) is collecting signatures asking Congress "to vote AGAINST any attack on Syria."
Earlier this month, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) repeated Kucinich's line that President Barack Obama should not be using the U.S. military as "Al-Qaeda’s air force."
"That line actually initially was said by Dennis Kucinich," Cruz told ABC's George Stephanopoulos.
Kucinich did not respond to Raw Story's request for a comment by the time of publication.
