Rep. Lauren Boebert's (R-CO) Democratic rival accused her of "melting down" after their debate this week.

Democratic candidate Trisha Calvarese posted clips of her Tuesday debate with Boebert in which she slammed the Colorado Republican for votes against a veterans benefit bill and a bill that allowed Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices, according to Newsweek's reporting.

Kamala Harris declares war on red tape

WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to announce economic policy proposals aimed at helping small businesses during a campaign speech Wednesday in New Hampshire.

The Democratic presidential candidate will stump in Portsmouth for expanding the tax deduction to $50,000 on business start-up costs, up from $5,000, a campaign official said on background Tuesday. Harris will also propose a standard deduction for businesses as a way to simplify tax filing for entrepreneurs.

Convicted felon Trump dubbed 'law and order' candidate by Ohio Attorney General

Donald Trump is the first major-party candidate to seek the presidency despite being convicted of 34 felonies. Those convictions relate to his having an extramarital affair with a porn star and paying her hush money to hide it from voters with an illegal cover-up before the 2016 election.

Even so, Ohio’s top law enforcement official, Attorney General Dave Yost, on Aug. 21 called the campaign of Trump and Ohio U.S. Sen. J.D. Vance, “the law and order” ticket.

The estate of the late Isaac Hayes sued Donald Trump in federal court, demanding that he stop playing the song "Hold on, I'm Comin'." On Tuesday, the judge found in favor of the artist over the Republican presidential candidate.

Lawyers for Donald Trump fired back at the family of soul musician Isaac Hayes over the weekend after the estate sued the former president's 2024 campaign for using the song "Hold On, I'm Comin'" without permission.
