'Glaring red flags': Historian issues major warning about Trump's game plan

Presidential historian Michael Beschloss appeared on MSNBC's "Way Too Early" to issue a new alarm about former President Donald Trump's assaults on the democratic process.

"We should all be really vigilant and sleep with one eye open," Beschloss explained. "Because you've got Donald Trump, even more than he did in 2016 or 2020 saying that the election is going to be rigged and I'm not going to take this lying down. He's made much more preparation for this than he did in either of those earlier elections. And at the same time, the stakes of this election could not be higher."

Trump's "buzzy sideshows" in California, New York, Colorado and more, might seem to be odd for the waning days of a presidential election. But in reality, each stop has played a key role for the former president's strategy, according to a Politico report.

Trump claims ‘extreme power’ of president in new threat

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign said Tuesday that her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, would be "unchecked" and "unhinged" in a potential second term, pointing to his comments at the roundtable with Latino leaders in which he said he would use "extreme power" to close the U.S.-Mexico border.

Trump suggested that he opposed a bipartisan border bill earlier this year—and pushed Republicans in Congress to vote against it—because it was a "phony bill" that was unnecessary to stop immigrants from entering the U.S. through the southern border.

'Halloween already?' Walz mocks 'cosplaying' Trump over McDonald's stunt

A spicy Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) took the stage in Madison, Wisconsin, on Tuesday afternoon with former President Barack Obama and lambasted Donald Trump for "cosplaying" as a McDonald's worker.

Trump went to McDonald's after Vice President Kamala Harris mentioned in passing that she worked for a summer at the "Golden Arches." Trump pounced on the comment and has maintained, without evidence, that she fabricated working there. McDonald's doesn't have records going back that far, they said in a statement.

Allies urge battleground GOP-controlled legislatures to guarantee a Trump win

Far-right allies of former President Donald Trump are calling on the state legislature in North Carolina and other closely contested presidential battleground states where Republicans hold control to short-circuit the popular vote and directly award the state’s 16 electoral votes to Trump.

Ivan Raiklin, a retired Army lieutenant colonel known for pushing a similar plan four years ago to pressure then-Vice President Mike Pence to throw the 2020 election, made the pitch during an appearance at the final stop of the ReAwaken America Tour, a roadshow that mixes evangelical Christianity, conspiracy theories and slavish devotion to Trump, on Oct. 18.
