MSNBC host levels Fox News' 'rude' Bret Baier for his 'embarrassing' Harris interview

Following up on a comment she made on social media after Vice President Kamala Harris concluded her interview on Fox News, MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski hammered Fox host Bret Baier on Thursday morning for his refusal to let his guest speak and labeled his performance "embarrassing."

Wednesday night on X she wrote, "With a host performing for an audience of one, @KamalaHarris did a great job pushing through what was a rude and misleading interview. Very surprised. I applaud that she called him out for showing a clip that did not represent the topic at hand. This is what they do."

Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell called Donald Trump a "narcissist" and a "despicable human being," among other things, according to an upcoming biography.

McConnell, who has publicly disagreed with Trump on several occasions but largely stuck by the former president's side, is reported to have made the remarks following the events of Jan. 6 in 2021. At the time of the riot, McConnell publicly condemned Trump's actions, but said he shouldn't be impeached for it because it would be up to the justice system to punish him for spurring the attack on the Capitol.

The Harris-Walz campaign is warning if Donald Trump becomes president again, he will have "unchecked power," thanks in part to plans made by his transition team that include "modern-day enemies lists."

"Trump is literally preparing modern-day enemies lists, at the same time he's under fire for calling other Americans 'the enemy within'," Harris Campaign spokesperson Ian Sams wrote Wednesday. "It's all making it very clear: Trump will have no one to restrain his worst instincts in another term. Unchecked power. No guardrails."

Trump demands Harris' 'cognitive ability must be tested at once' in Fox interview response

Donald Trump jumped on Truth Social late Wednesday night to weigh in on Vice President Kamala Harris' Fox News interview with host Bret Baier.

Following the interview that drew the ire of many viewers because Baier continued to talk over his guest and refused to let her finish her answers, the former president accused his presidential opponent of suffering from "Trump derangement syndrome."

On Truth Social he said in response, "Great job by Bret Baier in his Interview with Lyin’ Kamala Harris. She has a massive and irredeemable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME - So bad, in fact, that she is barely able to talk about any subject other than the man who had the best economy ever, the strongest border in history, and who just got the UNANIMOUS ENDORSEMENT OF THE U.S. Border Patrol, ME!"

He then added, "Their Endorsement was a TREMENDOUS HONOR!!! They said that Comrade Kamala did a terrible job, the absolute worst in memory, and can’t be allowed to do it again."

Again, congratulations to Bret Baier on a tough but very fair interview, one that clearly showed how totally incompetent Kamala is. For the good of our Nation, her inferior Cognitive ability must be tested at once!" he concluded.
