'Unforgivable': MAGA hosts trash GOP for blocking bill to force Pam Bondi's hand
Pro-MAGA television hosts David Brody, Gina Loudon, and Terrance Bates blasted Republicans who blocked a bill that would have forced Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the Jeffrey Epstein files.
During a Tuesday report on Real America's Voice, Bates noted that Democrats had tried to pass an amendment on the House Rules Committee that would have required Bondi to make the Epstein files available on a public website within 30 days.
"But again, House Republicans voted against that," Bates said. "And this is just becoming, it feels to me at least, David, that this is becoming a bigger mess by the day, and that this is something Republicans should be standing up for. MAGA is absolutely standing up for it. But unfortunately, our elected officials don't seem to be."
"Yeah, this is not the headline Republicans want," Brody agreed. "And the headline goes as follows: 'Republicans block the release of the Epstein files.' That's not the headline they want."
"And beyond the headlines, how about just release the files?" he asked. "It's the right thing to do, is it not?"
Loudon worried about President Donald Trump's legacy and the upcoming midterm elections.
"So much good has been done under President Trump's second term so far," she insisted. "And it is being completely eclipsed by this controversy."
"A week ago, I thought it was very salvageable," Loudon added. "Now I'm afraid that MAGA has misinterpreted President Trump's really first time ever lack of full throttle transparency, right, as some sort of nod to the deep state."
"And to MAGA, to many in MAGA anyway, that is unforgivable. And I am very concerned about what this means for the midterms."
