Pete Hegseth's excuse for stonewalling Congress shot down by retired general

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s decision to withhold video from one of his attacks on alleged drug boats, not only from the public but also from members on Congress, is ludicrous, according to retired US Army Lieutenant General Mark Hertling.

With the Trump administration continuing their attacks, claiming they are going after narcoterrorists without providing any evidence, Hertling claimed the Donald Trump appointee’s excuse for hiding the notorious Sept. 2nd attack video showing survivors of an earlier attack being killed doesn’t hold water.

'Disaster for Trump': MAGA conspiracist loses it over new Epstein files

Far-right InfoWars webcaster and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones had a dire warning for MAGA on Friday: President Donald Trump is blowing the release of the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case files, and falling into a trap set by his Democratic opponents.

"This is a disaster for Trump," said Jones. "And I predicted it and everybody predicted it, that if he obliquely joined the cover-up, the Democrats would selectively hang it around his neck. Evidence last week, they give the estate a few months ago of Epstein over to them, 90-plus thousand files. They picked 19 files, and it's Trump at public events with beauty queens and stuff and they black their faces out. MSNBC says, 'Is that the girls? Do they black them out because they're victims?' And we debunk it quickly, but the point is, it doesn't matter. Because Trump joined in it."

"Andrew, we've been talking theoretically. You've been reading," said Wallace. "Anything strike you in terms of what the Department of Justice has made public?"

'When I opened it I gasped': Legal analyst shocked by DOJ's Epstein file release

After studying the newly released Epstein files, MS NOW legal analyst Lisa Rubin quickly discovered that many file entries are nearly completely redacted by federal authorities, despite calls from critics and congressional Democrats to fully release the files.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) officially released hundreds of thousands of documents and photos pertaining to convicted sex-trafficker and child predator Jeffrey Epstein's two federal investigations. All of the new information can be found on the DOJ's website in its "Epstein Library," which features PDF links to documents and photos.

'Mind-boggling': Trump DOJ officials threatened with impeachment over Epstein file drop

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) argued Friday in no uncertain terms on MS NOW that the new release of Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case files proves that Attorney General Pam Bondi lied to the American people — and separately threatened both Bondi and another Justice Department official with impeachment.

"So the survivors themselves have illuminated the problem, in their view," anchor Nicolle Wallace said. "With that approach, some of what is in the files are their 302s, their interviews with the FBI. Is it your understanding that the survivors themselves have not been contacted about their own 302s, if they've been released?"
