In the wake of another ICE killing of an innocent man in Biddeford, Maine, MS NOW’s Joe Scarborough pounced on Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME).

On Wednesday, the ‘Morning Joe’ co-host went on an extended rant where he raked Collins over the coals over her promise to investigate previous ICE killings when she voted to increase funding for the controversial agency.

Senator Susan Collins (R-ME), under fire in her home state after a father was gunned down on Monday by ICE agents she helped fund, is about to suffer another blow courtesy of President Donald Trump, a political analyst argued Wednesday.

Appearing on MS NOW on Wednesday morning, John Heilemann said that Trump’s nationally televised speech planned for Thursday night could create a new “nightmare” for the Maine Republican, as well as other GOP candidates who will be on the ballot in November.

House Speaker Mike Johnson's (R-LA) declaration that he was not aware of any of the details about the shooting of a young father in Maine by ICE agents earned him a tongue-lashing on MS NOW early Wednesday morning.

“Morning Joe” opened with a clip of the GOP leader blowing off questions from a reporter about the shocking killing that has set off major protests in Maine, with Johnson complaining, “I’m going to reserve judgment. I know that there was a tragic shooting and I'm not going to comment on [it] because I don't know, and you guys can mock me for not knowing, but I worked about 22 hours in the last few days, and I did not get the briefing.”

Following public outrage over a series of killings at the hands of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, President Donald Trump's czar in charge of immigration enforcement, Tom Homan, announced a brief pause in ICE traffic stop operations — but even this tiny gesture was too much of a concession for Trump's die-hard supporters, who promptly screamed for blood.

"This is just a temporary pause while they look at the incidents," Homan said on Fox News. "I hear a lot of noise right now — 'this is going to affect ICE arrests,' and it's NOT going to... When that alien leaves his home before he gets into the car, you can arrest him then."

One of President Donald Trump's biographers revealed a dark secret that the president may have used to wield power over the late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

Graham, who died on Saturday from an aortic dissection after traveling home from Ukraine, was one of Trump's sharpest critics leading up to the president's first election in 2016, but soon became what some described as a supplicant. Graham was one of Trump's biggest allies on Capitol Hill and was instrumental in multiple legislative wins. He also helped rehabilitate Trump's image following the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Some parts of President Donald Trump's upcoming national address, as teased in the media, received an icy reception on CNN.

Trump is scheduled to give a national address on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET. Ahead of the speech, some reporters have noted that Trump plans to declare Democratic Sens. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff of Georgia "illegitimate" because of alleged "election fraud." Others have suggested that Trump plans to revive conspiracy theories about the 2020 election through newly declassified information during the address.
