Fox News host Howard Kurtz reported that Vice President Kamala Harris wanted to do an interview with Joe Rogan but the popular podcaster refused while granting a three-hour spot to former President Donald Trump.

During a Sunday panel discussion on Fox News, right-wing pundit Caroline Downey argued that Trump was "humanized" during his three-hour interview with Rogan.

On Sunday morning, NBC "Meet the Press" host Kirsten Welker was forced multiple times to contradict Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) after he stated, without any evidence, that Vice President Kamala Harris is having "her DOJ" arrest her political opponents.

As part of three interviews, including CNN and CBS, Vance showed up for that were shown on Sunday, Donald Trump's combative running mate butted heads with all the hosts and NBC's Welker was no exception.

Towards the end of his contentious interview with Welker, he changed direction and attempted to make the case that the greatest danger in the U.S. is Harris and President Joe Biden siccing the government on their critics.

After attacking former Trump White House chief of staff John Kelly of being a "disgruntled " ex-employee seeking revenge because Trump fired him, Vance stated, "If he was what John Kelly said he [Trump] was then why did Donald Trump deliver peace and prosperity. He didn't arrest his political opponents as Kamala Harris and the Department of the Justice have in fact done."

"There's no evidence, there is no evidence of that," Welker interrupted as the Ohio Republican tried to talk over her.

"The Department of Justice has not been going after political political opponents?" Vance parried.

"Senator, there is no evidence of that," the host replied.

"The current Department of Justice under Kamala Harris and Joe Biden has absolutely been going after their political opponents of the current Democratic party and I think it's a disgrace, but it's happening," Vance insisted.

"There's no evidence that the DOJ is going after their political opponents. Donald Trump was indicted by federal grand juries," the NBC host shot back.

Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance suggested CBS News host Margaret Brennan wanted war with Russia because she asked about stopping the country from meddling in elections in the United States.

In an interview that aired on Sunday, Brennan told Vance that the U.S. "Director of National Intelligence on Friday said Russia is behind a fake video that is circulating of someone tearing up ballots in Pennsylvania."

Reacting to a report from MSNBC's Vaughan Hillard that Donald Trump's ground game in getting out voters is more than lacking, former RNC chair Michael Steele claimed the people put in charge have no idea what they are doing.

As Hillyard explained, the Trump campaign is scrambling now after pouring too much of its resources into stopping election fraud and not enough on making sure voters will turn out.

After pointing out that the two organizations tasked by the RNC with getting out GOP voters have no "wins" to boast about, Steele, co-host of MSNBC's "The Weekend," jumped in.

"I was just going to say, I can just tell you as a chairman of a political party, you can't outsource your ground game to folks who don't know jack about the ground or the game," he told the panel.

"So, you are where you are at this point," he added.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) complained that Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign had moved on from its "joy" theme to comparing Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler after retired Gen. John Kelly called the former president a fascist.

During a Sunday morning interview on ABC, host Jonathan Karl told Graham that Kelly had called Trump a wannabe dictator.

CNN host Jake Tapper called out Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance for baselessly claiming that retired Gen. John Kelly coordinated with Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign before calling former President Donald Trump a fascist.

"You said the other day, quote, I guarantee John Kelly talked to somebody on Kamala Harris' campaign beforehand, before he did this interview," Tapper noted during a CNN interview with Vance that aired on Sunday.

Donald Trump's quixotic desire to hold a rally in New York City's Madison Square Garden on Sunday was ridiculed by the state's governor who suggested he was giving up by going to a place where he stands no chance of winning.

Appearing on MSNBC's "The Weekend," Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) called Trump's planned appearance "waving the white flag" and admitting it is over.

"I will not be at Madison Square Garden although we'll make sure it's fully protected by his state police and NYPD, so that's our responsibility," she told the hosts. "But I have another reason why I think he's coming here. I think he's waving the white flag of surrender and he's coming back to a city he knows well."

"He's comfortable here and maybe he'd like to sleep in his own bed and as you get older you want that comfort of what you know," she continued. "And I think given that all the interviews he's canceled and the rallies he's canceled ... I mean, Kamala Harris is in Pennsylvania today. She's in Philadelphia."

"Donald Trump is coming back to his known familiar environment and if he wants to stay here for nine days, I'll make sure he's got tickets to Broadway ... maybe that will help inspire him to do the right thing," she joked.

Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy argued that former First Lady Michelle Obama lacked "compassion" and was pushing a "dystopian vision for America" by fighting for abortion rights.

"I want to just talk about the — Michelle Obama for a second and you know you mentioned it as an as an abortion speech. It was a dystopian vision of America. It was almost like the entire rally was focused, and her speech was focused almost primarily on Abortion and on that idea," Campos-Duffy told co-host Will Cain after Obama spoke at a rally for Kamala Harris.

Donald Trump recently released an interview with one of the most popular podcasters in the world, but some say it could be the thing that will bring the ex-president down.
