MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski called out J.D. Vance for blaring a "firehose of falsehoods" throughout his debate against Tim Walz.

The vice presidential candidates faced off Tuesday night in their only scheduled debate, and former White House press secretary Jen Psaki told "Morning Joe" that Vance misrepresented and distorted both his and Donald Trump's record on numerous issues, which put Walz at a disadvantage in a format where moderators rarely stepped in to fact check his false claims.

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is complaining his Democratic opponent, U.S. Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX) has turned his re-election race into a "battleground," and "Chuck Schumer and George Soros" are flooding the state with cash, while the Cook Political Report just published more bad news for the Texas Republican.

"Look, there's no doubt Texas is a battleground today," Cruz told Newsmax on Tuesday, as he was reminded he won his seat by double digits in 2012. Cruz complained Senate Democratic Majority Leader Chuck Schumer "has been explicit, I'm his number one target in the country, and the Democrats are spending over $100 million. Chuck Schumer and George Soros are flooding cash into the state of Texas."

CNN anchors walked away from Tuesday night's debate with the impression that both Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz came to do what they set out to do — with one anchor saying Vance succeeded in "laundering Trumpism."

“What most struck me was significant revisionist history from Sen. Vance on the issues of Obamacare and January 6,” Dale told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “But I was also struck by the fact that we had a false claim from each candidate on the subject of reproductive rights.”
