A Republican congressman is being ridiculed online after he used a sham website in an attempt to shame Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-WI) Wednesday responded to Warren’s message “Tax the Rich” by sharing a website that listed her worth at $75 million and her height as “United States Senator.”
“Okay,” Van Orden declared. “You first.”
It’s not clear who was first to tell Van Orden that a website that lists Warren’s height as “United States Senator” might not have its facts straight.
But those eager to make the correction include CNN investigative reporter Andy Kaczynsky, Vanity Fair’s Brian Stelter and former MSNBC commentator Keith Olbermann.
“Her height is listed as ‘US Senator,’” Olbermann pointed out, “you addled fascist moron.”
“That's only listed height though,” added Ben Jacobs. “Her actual height could be closer to United States Representative.”
Others were quick to point out a slight math problem with Warren's listed salary in the post of $400,000 and an annual salary of $6 million.

“Well 400,000 x 12 is not even 6,000,000 a year,” noted Elijah Watson, “so your source I don't think is the most trusted I've seen.”
A better source for Warren’s worth might have been her tax returns, which the Massachusetts Senator publishes annually.
The 2022 statement for Warren and her husband Bruce lists an annual income of about $1.1 million.
That may be what spurred X user Landon Hall to ask Van Orden, "Would you say that you’re a serious person?”
