Alabama man responds to woman's offer to help with racial slurs and shotgun threats outside Wal-Mart

An Alabama man was arrested after responding to a woman's offer of help with racial threats and shotgun threats.

Christopher Joseph Lucier was spotted earlier this week attempting to push his vehicle into the parking lot of a Wal-Mart store in Ozark, reported the Dothan Eagle.

A woman offered to help Lucier push the vehicle into the parking lot -- and police said he apparently became enraged.

Lucier responded to the offer by screaming racial slurs and grabbing a shotgun from his vehicle, witnesses said.

He then threatened to kill bystanders as the woman backed away from him and waited for police to arrive.

Officers ordered Lucier down to the ground, and police used a Taser to subdue him and take him into custody.

Lucier was charged with a felony count of terroristic threatening and misdemeanor counts of public intoxication and obstruction of government operations.

He was jailed on $12,000 bond.
