A former Fox News host claimed that corporations like Disney, CBS, and Comcast are responsible for the "rise in hatred" in America during a podcast interview on Thursday.
Bill O'Reilly joined the "Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show" Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show" on Thursday to discuss the slaying of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The interview occurred just days after O'Reilly's new book, "Confronting Evil," was released.
"Some of his takes might have opened the window to what's happening on social media, and that's why they killed him," O'Reilly said of Kirk's killing. "The corporations Disney, Comcast, CBS are partially responsible for the rise in hatred in this country. I'm not going to say the rise in evil, but the rise in hatred, which feeds right into evil, and then evil feeds into violence."
O'Reilly specifically mentioned the morning show "The View" as an example of corporations profiting by peddling hate.
"These are radical left women," O'Reilly said. "These are not thinkers. These are people who are in business to make the other side suffer."
"The corporations make money by allowing people like Joy Behar and others to peddle hate," he added.
