Bomb discovered near home of George Soros — who’s been targeted by anti-Semitic conspiracy theories

As President Donald Trump campaigned in Texas while warning of Democratic Party mobs, federal and state authorities responded to an explosive device discovered near the home of billionaire philanthropist George Soros, The New York Times reported Monday.

Bedford Police Department and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety responded to the scene in the hamlet of Katonah, New York in Westchester County.

Neither the Federal Bureau of Investigation nor the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives responded to requests for comment from The Times.

Trump has pushed unfounded conspiracy theories against Soros.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has also pushed the conspiracy theory that the migrant caravan is funded by Soros.

The GOP conspiracy theories and smears against Soros have been widely condemned as anti-Semitic.
