Donald Trump's new communications advisor didn't just work for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) earlier in the campaign, he repeatedly mocked the real estate mogul on Twitter.
Think Progress reported on Monday night that it recovered cached versions of tweets from Jason Miller's account posted earlier this year.
Miller, who worked in the same capacity for the Tea Party lawmaker, had deleted the tweets, which include descriptions of Trump as "Sleazy Donald" and "the Carl Lewis of flip-flopping," as seen below.
Ironically, Miller was hired to replace Corey Lewandowski, who has been criticized for an apparent refusal to say anything disparaging about his former employer.
